Our Sixth Form students have the opportunity to take part in a range of co-curricular activities ranging from the Extended Project Qualification and the DofE Gold Award to high-quality Sport, Music and Drama. All of this contributes to making the individual stand out from the crowd in a competitive university and careers market.
Every student is different and there is an appropriate combination of courses for each individual. Please read on for our whole range of courses on offer from September 2023, or contact us to talk about your options.
PLEASE NOTE: The school is considering the introduction of Accountancy, Film Studies, Sociology, BTEC Business, Leiths CTH Level 3 Extended Certificate in Professional Cookery and Statistics (subject to final confirmation). Please contact the Head of Sixth Form, Mr Simon Moore (Simon.Moore@lvs.ascot.sch.uk), for further information.
We also offer A Level Music by invitation from the Music Department. Please contact Mr James Wilder Head of Department (James.Wilder@lvs.ascot.sch.uk) for further information.
How do I choose the right courses to study?
Here are some questions to ask yourself:
- What subjects do you enjoy at GCSE?
- Which subjects are you keen to learn more about?
- What are your areas of strength – Science, Humanities, Maths or Languages?
- Do you know what you want to do in the long term?
- Does your chosen university course or career have subject-specific criteria?
Please contact admissions@lvs.ascot.sch.uk to arrange a tour of the school and an interview with the Head of Sixth Form.
